This is NOT how it was supposed to come out, but I just wanted to upload something after this work. I will be completing it maybe later on tonight, but this is what I have to offer before the time runs out. For the contest, I'd perfer you just judge this one: sketchedjdii.deviantart.com/ar…

The drinks fit amazingly to both their left and their right side, the left having Eileen with blue clothing and red glasses, and then the Christmas tree on the right side with two carols that have the same color like the drinks, and are also highlighted - And since the tree is green and you used a different color for the other two carols (appropriate colors), it made that part pop out. (But that's just one way of looking at it, first glance.)
I think you have no problem with shading or coloring, I think the only problem here was the lack of time for the details you added in your sketch. I would give you more hours, really, and I did thought about it, but In the end I figured it wouldn't be fair.
...You know, there would be an easy way for you to make this all seem 'a lot more', and that would be to put a huge red bow (on a red wrap you would also make) on the yellow present.
I just checked out your first image and that's what I thought of once I saw that there was a wrap and a bow on the sketch.
A huge red bow though...I'm a genius. - Just kidding. XD
Anyways, it's almost 12PM, and I'm pretty sure it's the 26th for everyone, so the contest ends now. But there is a slight problem, so I won't get to post the results until I get some information regarding a fanart.
There is also a chance I will post the results tomorrow, since I'm sick and tired. (Not like Anastacia, I just have a nasty cold. XD)
